I've just checked a few of the lessons in The Physics Classroom, specifically the "Physics Tutorial" on vectors and scalars written by a very experienced high school teacher.
There may be shockwave simulators, and nothing from this website is supposed to be downloaded. With that said, the scalars vs. vectors, distance vs. displacement, speed vs. velocity, and I took a jump into electricity - Coulombs vs. amps - were all crystal clear explanations, if a bit texty. I really liked being able to play VERBAL explanations of how to solve the problems.
If this person has good shockwave sims (his mini movies didn't add value, but his examples were good (he used skiers - yea!) instead of cars all the time. He did use some car examples, though, which I think is a good idea, since everyone has experience with them.
